Scholarships

Are you out there?

Tucson Hosts the parent company of the Tucson Invitational Games and Arizona AAU Baseball is seeking deserving high school athletes that qualify to be a candidate of receiving a partial or full scholarship to the college of their choice.

To be considered these individuals must be nominated by a peer or parent and demonstrate the highest standard of respect for their parents, fellow athletes, coaches and opponents. They must also posses a minimum 3.0 GPA in their Junior and Senior Year to date. In the nomination please tell us what this student/athlete has done to be worthy of your praise, admiration and nomination. Please also include information if this student has had offers from colleges and if you know of their financial status. Please also include any information of how to contact the nominee, with their home address, phone, parents name, school, church or place of worship, we need some way to contact the person you think so highly of.

These individuals once nominated will be informed that that have been nominated and will be asked to write a 500 word essay on how they hope to change their community or world. Sports are our medium, our country, our community and our fellow neighbors are our passion and belief.

Without all of us striving to be our best our community suffers, that is why we look to reward the individuals that stand out and above others that will look beyond today and ask what we can do for each other, how can we help the other guy, what we can do together and make our world a better place.

We are honored to be able to reward such good young people that may not be able to look to college in their future, but that is not enough, we will reach out to the colleges and universities that are part of our daily business and ask them to help our deserving student athletes as well. It is of great reward for us personally to help our youth, to help them achieve their dreams, to watch them change the world. Thank you.

Please submit your nomination, please email Jim Tiggas at jim@azaaubaseball.com
